Pat has been active in the Insurance industry since 1974, joining The Protectors Group in 1984 as a Senior Partner. A resident of Peterborough, Pat has comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of Life Insurance, Prescribed Annuities, Segregated Funds and Tax Shelter vehicles. As a former Peterborough Pete and a member of the Memorial Cup Team of 1959, Pat has remained actively associated with the Peterborough Petes organization and is currently Treasurer.

   Tom Weichel– CLU, Senior Partner

Tom joined The Protectors Group in July of 1998 and has been helping clients in the Financial Service Industry since 1983. Tom specializes in the unique financial needs of individuals and business owners with their asset accumulation and protection. Tom has been a member of the Canadian Association of Financial Advisors for over twenty years, and held numerous executive positions with the organization. He is a certified Branch Manager through the Investment Funds Institute of Canada and has attained his Chartered Life Underwriter designation. Tom is a member of the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Policy Committee and the Peterborough Sales & Ad Club. Tom and his family are active members of the Peterborough YMCA and the Devil’s Elbow Ski Club.

Paul joined the Protectors Group in 2005. He has been in the financial services industry since 1976 and has attained his Certified Financial Planning designation. He is member of the Financial Planners Standards Counsel. Paul is "CARP Recommended" and is well prepared to meet with persons at or approaching retirement. Paul enjoys cottage life and is an active golfer.

   Deb Weichel– Executive Assistant

Deb has been in the financial service/accounting industry for over 20 years. Deb is part of Tom’s team, specializing in asset management. She is involved with the YMCA and keeps busy at home raising three children.

   Jennifer Dryburgh– Administration & Client Care

Jennifer joined our staff in 2004 and brings with her 15 years experience with the financial service sector. Jennifer is also on the Board of the Peterborough Riding for the Disabled. She and her family enjoy curling and equestrian activities.
